Most Blessed Sacrament altar
In 1690 an altar of Baroque style was placed in the apse at the end of the Angevin nave used at the present to hold the Most Blessed Sacrament, with three stone statues that represent Saint Joseph in the centre, Saint Nicholas of Bari to the left and Saint Anthony of Padua to the right. The altar and the tabernacle go back to the first half of 800. The upper part is adorned with a niche in which the scene of the Annunciation is represented in high-relief. |
